Mosaic by the Apprentices of CPT Mendrisio
On the ground floor of the Fiore di pietra, you’ll find a unique mosaic: around 20,000 tiles carefully placed by hand by the tiling apprentices of CPT Mendrisio. The artwork depicts Monte Generoso and its iconic train, a creative tribute to the region.
Created within the “School Life Spaces” project, the mosaic highlights the craftsmanship of these young talents, guided by their instructor and supported by Mapei, Montolit and CPT Mendrisio.
The exhibition is free to visit until April 30 during the opening hours of the Fiore di pietra. Come and see it in person!
