A simple but well thought-out menu, a cosy ambience with seating for about 40 guests, a venue for private events immersed in the woods: the Bellavista Buffet offers all this. Take the cogwheel train to the dedicated stop or follow one of the nearby trails: the 0 km regional cuisine will amaze you. 

Accessibility
The Grotto Buffet Bellavista can be reached in various ways:

• By cogwheel train: with the Bellavista stop directly opposite
• On foot: from the various paths on Monte Generoso or from the Bellavista car park, which is the last point accessible by car.

The Bellavista car park is a municipal pay car park that can be reached from Mendrisio, following the "Monte Generoso" signs. From the car park, continue on foot towards the Bellavista station by climbing the forest road on the left, past the barrier. The route is 1.5 km long and in 15 minutes you will hike through the forest on unpaved terrain.
