My climate

We are the first ascent in Ticino and the first campsite in Switzerland to join the myclimate foundation's Cause We Care initiative. Thank to our guests' contribution, which we double, we can help to reduce CO2 emissions.

Here's how a small addition to your tickets turns into a big favour for nature. By adding CHF 1.- to the price of a ticket (or CHF 10.- to a pass) for a trip on the scenic train, you will be supporting our sustainability measures. As a thank you, we will double our contribution. The total amount will be donated to nature conservation projects at the local and international levels.

Your contribution helps us implement numerous measures to protect nature: here are the goals we’ve achieved. With the first funds raised, 162 square meters of solar panels were installed on offices in Capolago, which produce energy without ruining the landascape. In the first year after joining the programme, we saved 15,450 kg of CO2, the equivalent of planting 461 new trees.
